Deverout and Associates

Mentorship programme · 2026 Edition

The Deverout Method, taught one session at a time.

An eight-module programme that teaches one shared consulting method to two audiences: affiliate partners, who apply the licensed method with their own clients, and junior consultants, who build consulting skill and client readiness. Sessions run every two weeks over four to five months and end in a capstone and certification.

Progression

Four gates between kickoff and certification

Each gate is assessed against a written rubric. Learners move on when they show the skill, not when the calendar says so.

1. Foundations

by 11 Dec 2026

Modules 1–3. Pass all three knowledge checks and one combined role-play: explain the 2026 landscape, agentic AI and physical AI in plain client language.

2. Method

by 29 Jan 2027

Modules 4–5. Reframe a client brief toward fundamental transformation and defend a five-stage delivery plan: Diagnose, Design, Build, Deploy, Scale and Govern.

3. Positioning and voice

by 26 Feb 2027

Modules 6–7. Win a mock competitive pitch and pass a drafting review: hero statement, mission under 30 words, vision under 25 words, no banned jargon.

4. Network and readiness

by 26 Mar 2027

Module 8 and the capstone. Assessed on method fidelity, use of evidence, language and client readiness. Every capstone includes a cross-cultural knowledge-exchange element.

The capstone. Each candidate diagnoses a client brief, reframes it toward fundamental transformation, designs an end-to-end plan combining digital and, where relevant, physical AI, prices it on outcomes, and presents it to the mentor panel led by Deverout Graham, Managing Partner. Candidates who miss first time get remediation and a second attempt before 9 April 2027.

Two audiences, one method

Same modules, different outcomes

[AP] Affiliate partners
  • Lighter, self-directed cadence with the same milestones
  • Apply the licensed method with their own clients
  • Certified on method fidelity, technical fluency, language and positioning
  • Sign the quality-standard commitment and agree recertification terms
  • Must pass the capstone
[JC] Junior consultants
  • Short weekly touchpoints inside live client work
  • Build skill along the delivery arc, from Diagnose toward Deploy
  • Assessed on development and client readiness, not licensing
  • Separate development review at the end of the programme
  • Share AI fluency upward through reverse-mentoring

Rollout

From one pilot cohort to the whole network

Nov 2026 – Mar 2027

Pilot

One small mixed cohort of affiliate partners and junior consultants, with one trained mentor.

Mar – Apr 2027

Certify and refine

Capstones and certification. Go ahead only if a clear majority of affiliate candidates pass on the first or second attempt.

Q2 2027

Scale

Train mentors first. No market certifies affiliates until it has at least one certified mentor.

From end of Q2 2027

Knowledge loop

A quarterly network exchange, so lessons from affiliates in the field shape the shared method.
